Ugochukwu Ozougwu – Chairperson

Ugo played a significant role in forming the association and has been the secretary of Ndi-Igbo Reading since inception until 2021. Influential and well respected. Dedicated to the affairs of Ndi-Igbo Reading, Ugo was instrumental in designed and executing many of Ndi-Igbo Reading’s programmes.

Ugo lives in Reading, Berkshire. He is married with two kids.

Helen Ani – Vice Chairperson

I was born in Nkanu West Local Government Area, Enugu state. After a brief stint abroad, my family and I returned to Wokingham in 2007, where I live with my four children. I joined Ndi Igbo Reading in September 2018. Since then, I have been involved in organising a number of events, including the Christmas and summer parties.

This group means a lot to me, and the members have been a great support to me in recent years. I am very excited at the opportunity to give back to this community, and look forward to the challenge.

Chux Ezendiokwelle – Financial Secretary

I am from Aguluezechukwu, Aguata LGA of Anambra state. I was the Treasurer for Ndi Igbo Reading between 2015 – 2021, and now the Financial Secretary.
I joined Ndi Igbo Reading to enable me to commune, create friendships, socialise and network with my fellow Igbo brothers and sisters.

Ndi Igbo Reading is so beneficial to me because we always come together as one in good and bad times opportunity to give back to this community, and look forward to the challenge.

Obumneme Uchendu – Secretary

My name is Obumneme Uchendu, from Mbaukwu in Awka South LGA, Anambra State.  I am married to a very lovely wife and blessed with three great kids. I work in the Telecoms/IT industry as a network and security consultant.

I was recently elected into the new Ndi Igbo Reading executive to serve as the Secretary for 2022-2024 tenure.

Mrs. Amara Nawah – Treasurer

I was born and raised in Aba now Abia State, by Mbaise parents in Imo State.

I am a qualified nurse in the UK and married to my amiable husband Mr Ambrose Nawah from Ghana. We are blessed with three children.

I joined Ndi Igbo Reading in 2019. It is an honour to be able to serve in the capacity of Treasurer for Ndi Igbo Reading. I am very much looking forward to working with the other executives and the entire Ndi Igbo Reading in promoting the Igbo culture and finding ways to contribute to the development of the organisation.

Amb. Princess Mrs. Ada-Ngwa Lynda Onwuneme – Provost

I was born into the Royal Family of Anaba Ogbea of Umuala Nsulu in Isiala Ngwa North LGA Abia State. I am qualified as a registered nurse in the UK and work in the Health sector. I am happily married with two children. I joined Ndi Igbo Reading in September 2018 and since then have contributed my quota to the growth of the association. As a Royal Princess and a cultural music lover, I occasionally showcase my dancing steps to add glamour to our End Of Year events. Ndi Igbo Reading is my second family, and I vehemently believe in our motto “Nwanne Di Na Mba’
